This large flat storage cement import terminal has dock mobile ship unloaders that are able to operate on several docks. The flat storage warehouse is equipped with an internal buffer storage with automated reclaim to reduce and optimise the reclaim work. The warehouse can also be subdivided to handle multiple cement types if required.

When Nippon Steel doubled the size of its GBFS grinding plant it considered the possibility of long distance GGBFS exports using large bulk carriers. This required an export facility with a large storage capacity and a special loading system for the ships.

Changuinola Civil Works, Panama
This floating terminal was used as a temporary cement and fly ash import facility for a large construction project in Panama. It was later used in Haiti. The unique characteristics of this floating terminal allowed it to be stationed 150 meters offshore and pumping the cement and fly ash to shore via a floating pipeline. It did not need a dock.

This large flat storage terminal was designed and built to handle different types of bulk materials. During the financial crisis and the 90% reduction in seaborne imports this terminal was not mothballed as most other cement terminals but switched over from cement to fertilizers.
